Day 01 Arrive Cochin
Begin your tour.
Arrive into Cochin
Welcome to 'Vardhman's Peaceful South India'. On arrival in Cochin, you will be met and transfered by our representative to hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Optional : Evening attend the Kathakali dance performance.
Overnight : Hotel

Day 2 : Cochin - Thekkady
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a sightseeing city tour of Cochin - Visit Fort Cochin, Spice Markets, Antique shopping, Synagogue and Chinese Fishing Nets. Return to the hotel for lunch.
After lunch, depart to Thekkady by road and upon arrrival at Thekkady check into your hotel.

Day 3: Thekkady (Periyar )
After breakfast visit Periyar
Boat cruise on the lake of the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Periyar-an ariticial lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is in the heart of the Wildlife sanctuary. Wild Elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even tigers come to shores of the lake to drink.

Day 4 : Thekkady - Kumarakom
Morning, drive to boat landing point from where the hotel's courtesy boat will take passengers to Kumarakom.
Arrive at Kumarakom and check into hotel.
Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater village on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake, crises crossed with meandering waterways and ancient cottages

Day 5 : Kumarakom - Cochin
This morning after breakfast, drive to Cochin and on arrival, check in to hotel.
Later proceed on a City tour of Cohin
Visit Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica, originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Finally, the Willingdon Island, named after Lord Willingdon, is the headquarters of the Southern Naval Command of India.

Day 6 : Depart - Cochin
In time transfer to airport to board the flight for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of your 'Peaceful South India Tour' escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
