Day 03 : Chennai (Madras) - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Trichy
This morning afterbreakfast proceed to full day tour of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. The former was the main port of Pallava dynasty & has exquisite rock-cut monuments, monolithic structures and bas reliefs. It is also a beach resort. Kanchipuram is famed for it's hand - woven cottons and kanjivaram silk.
Evening transfer to railway station to catch a train for Trichy.

Day 04 : Trichy
Morning arrive Trichy Railway Station and you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our representative.Afternoon proceed to visit the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi - 434 steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines, lead to the temple, yet another flight leads to the temple of Lord Shiva. The ascend is climaxed by magnificient view of the sacred Kaveri river. Visit Srirangam a massive temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu which contains within its walls a bazzar.

Day 05 : Trichy - Tanjore - Madurai
Morning drive to Madurai enroute visiting the famous 9th century Chola Temple Brihodeswara at Tanjore.
Upon arrival, transfer into hotel.

Day 06 : Madurai
This morning after breakfast proceed for the city tour.
Visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side). Later visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace - a gracious building in the Indo Saracenic style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches.
Evening free at leisure actitives.

Day 07 : Madurai - Periyar
This morning drive to Periyar. Upon arrival, check into hotel.
Later visit Periyar National Park .

Day 08 : Periyar - Cochin
This morning after breakfast drive to Cochin. Upon arrival check into hotel.

Day 09 : Cochin
This morning proceed to half day city sighting tour of cochin. Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue , Chinese fishing nets, & St.Francis Church .
Afternoon free at leisure activites.

Day 10 : Cochin - Bangalore - Mysore
This morning drive to airport to board the flight for Bangalore. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 11 : Mysore
Morning full day excursion of Belur and Halebid. The Chenna Kesava Temple of Belur built 900 years ago is an exquisite example of Hoysala art. Halebid's 12th century Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temple are masterpieces of hindu art.

Day 12 : Mysore
This morning proceed for city tour of Mysore.
Visit the Mysore Palace, Art Gallery, and Chamundi Hills and on the way back from these hills visit Nandi Bull.
