On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 02 Delhi This morning after breakfast proceed on a combined city tour of Old Delhi & New Delhi. Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight: Hotel Day 03 Delhi - Jaipur After breakfast drive to Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Optional: Lunch at a Heritage hotel with Tonga ride or explore the market & shop for special bargains! Overnight: Hotel Day 04 Jaipur City tour of Jaipur This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort. Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur. Overnight: Hotel Day 05 Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra Today you drive to the former capital city of Emperor Akbar On to Agra Your exciting day begins with a tour, starting with a visit to Fatehpur Sikri. Then continue onward to Agra and check into your hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 06 Agra Full day city tour of Agra Visit Taj Mahal, Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one stop shop! Overnight: Hotel Day 07 Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho After breakfast transfer to Railway station 0800 hrs Leave for Jhansi by train no 2002. 1048 hrs Arrive Jhansi and proceed to Orchha, 12 km away. Proceed for sightseeing of ORCHA sites within the Fort Complex. Enjoy your lunch at Orchha. Continue drive to Khajuraho. Overnight: Hotel Day 08 Khajuraho Full day city tour of Khajuraho Visit the world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples. Visit the Eastern group of temples that consist of the Parasvanath Temple - the only Jain Temple surviving at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum, the Javeri Temple dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath. Overnight: Hotel Day 09 Khajuraho-Varanasi Morning at leisure. In time transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi 1330 hrs-Leave for Varanasi by Jet Airways 9W-724 1410 hrs -Arrive Varanasi And transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 10 Varanasi Boat Cruise on River Ganges Early morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. Half day city tour of Varanasi Sightseeing tour of the City visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University, which has an art gallery and the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangazeb, built on the site of an ancient Hindu Temple. Overnight: Hotel Day 11 Varanasi - Delhi This morning after breakfast proceed on a half day tour of Sarnath. Half-day tour of Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renewed school of learning from 6th Century B.C. to 12th Century A.D. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist Temple and the Museum.
