On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 02: Delhi This morning after breakfast proceed on a City Tour City. tour of Old Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. City tour of New Delhi Proceed on a tour of the city, which includes the main attraction like Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi. Overnight: Hotel Day 03: Delhi - Varanasi Day 04: Varanasi - Khajuraho City tour of Khajuraho Visit the world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples. Overnight: Hotel Day 06: Khajuraho - Orchha - Gwalior Day 07: Gwalior - Agra Day 08: Agra City tour of Jaipur Elephant Safari This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort (optional: Elephant Safari). Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur. Optional: Lunch at a Heritage hotel with Tonga ride or explore the market & shop for special bargains! Overnight: Hotel Day 11: Jaipur - Chhatrasagar Breakfast will be at hotel. Proceed to NIMAJ. (Chhatrasagar) The fort of Nimaj was built in 1733 by the valiant ruler- Thakur Jagram Singh. Situated in the heart of the town, it is a massive structure built in traditional Rajput style with courtyards and separate wings for men & women. The little township is surrounded by places of historical interest, like the 9th century temple Magar Mandi, 3 kms away. Visit nearby villages to see local craftsmen at work & a little further see blackbucks, blue bulls etc. Watch the birds, go for nature walks, soak in the fresh air, sit around the bonfire and listen to old folk lore - or be more adventurous and take one of the many safaris on offer. Experience the warm hospitality, and enjoy some truly delicious Indian and traditional Rajasthani meals cooked with farm fresh vegetables in the family kitchen. Relax in the tastefully designed and well-appointed tented accommodation. Each tent has an attached bath with running hot and cold water, and its own private sit out overlooking the lake. Overnight :Camp Day 12: Chhatrasagar - Deogarh - Udaipur City tour of Udaipur Boat Cruise on Lake Pichola Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum) Boat curise on Lake Pichola 4km long and 3km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments Overnight: Hotel Day 14: Udaipur - Jodhpur Breakfast will be at hotel. Proceed for Jodhpur. En-route, visit the RANAKPUR TEMPLES, dating back to the 15th century. 200 pillars, none of which are alike, support its 29 halls. The Temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures. Includes visits to two more Jain temples and the Temple of the Sun God with its erotic sculptures. Reach Jodhpur. Overnight: Hotel Day 15: Jodhpur City tour of Jodhpur Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorium built in 1899 and the Museum located in the Umaid Public gardens. Overnight: Hotel Day 16: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer Proceed for Jaisalmer. Rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer. A commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone stands, with its awesome splendor, dominating the amber-hued city. The city has an interesting legend associated with it, according to which, Lord Krishna-the head of the Yadav Clan, foretold Arjuna that a remote descendent of the Yadav Clan would build his kingdom atop the Trikuta Hill. His prophecy was fulfilled in 1156 AD when Rawal Jaisal, a descendent of the Yadav Clan and a Bhatti Rajput, abandoned his fort at Lodurva and founded a new capital - Jaisalmer, perched on the Trikuta Hill. Overnight: Hotel Day 17: Jaisalmer City tour of Jaisalmer Visit to sand dunes Jaisalmer; in the morning a city tour with visits e.g. to the Gadi Sagar Tank and Patwah-ki-Haveli. Afterwards a walk in the small streets of the old city (haveli's). Tombs by oase (Bada Bagh en Chhatris), Gadisar Lake. Visit the famous forts & Havelies. Overnight: Hotel Day 18: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur This morning drive to Jodhpur and check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 19: Jodhpur - Delhi Breakfast will be in the hotel. Proceed to the airport to take the flight for Delhi.
