Day 02: Delhi
This morning after a leisurely breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi..
Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple , a modern Hindu Temple , Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi .
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
Enjoy the Dances of India show in the evening.

Day - 03 : Delhi - Jaipur
This morning after breakfast drive to Jaipura and on arrival check into hotel.
Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day - 04 : Jaipur
After breakfast proceed for Amber Fort. Enjoy the fort ascent on elephant back in a royal manner.
Enjoy the experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort (optional: Elephant Safari). Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.
Rest of the day free for shopping.

Day - 05 : Jaipur - Agra
This morning drive to Agra and enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri (Old Deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) - Jama Masjid, The Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. On arrival check into hotel.
Afternoon visit Red Fort - a visit to the fort in 'Agra' is must since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here, Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb - The tomb is of particular interest since many of its design Elephants overshadow the Taj.

Day - 06 : Agra - Khajuraho
Proceed to visit Taj Mahal - a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love.
Later drive to airport to board a flight to Khajuraho and on arrival transfer to hotel.
Later proceed to visit a full day tour of the Exotic temples (Eastern & Southern) of Khajuraho.

Day - 07 : Khajuraho - Varanasi
This morning tansfer to airport to catch a flight to Varanasi and on arrival transfer into hotel.
In the afternoon take an excursion to Sarnath.

Day - 08 : Varanasi
Drive very early morning to The Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges. See the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions.
Return for breakfast to the hotel.
City tour of Varanasi
visit the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University, which has an art gallery and the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangazeb, built on the site of an ancient Hindu Temple.

Day - 09 : Varanasi - Shivpatinagar
This morning after breakfast drive to Shivpatinagar enroute visiting Kushinagar and upon arrival, check into hotel.
Kushinagar is a small town amidst a dense forest, famous as this was the place where Buddha passed into Parinirvana (went for his heavenly abode).
Afternoon visit Kapilvastu - the place where Buddha spent his childhood and youth. Spent the night at hotel after having Gala Dinner including bar-be-que, special music & dance.

Day - 10 : Shivpatinagar - Chitwan
Morning free to relax, in the afternoon drive to Chitwan enroute visiting Lumbini and upon arrival check into hotel.
Lumbini is the birthplace of Buddha.

Day - 11 : Chitwan National Park
This morning after breakfast, free for Jungle activities such as Nature walk, bird watching, village visiting. Elephant back Safari, etc.
In the evening enjoy Traditional Tharu Cultural Dance.

Day - 12 : Chitwan - Pokhara
In the morning after breakfast drive to Pokhara and transfer into hotel.
Afternoon stroll around the Lake side.

Day - 13 : Pokhara
Early morning one hour boat ride at Phewa Lake and then visit the Temple situated in the middle of the lake.
After breakfast take an excursion to Sarangkot.

Day - 14 : Pokhara - Kathmandu
This morning after breakfast drive to Kathmandu and transfer into hotel.
Kathmandu - surrounded by green hills and mountains with snow-capped peaks against its northern and eastern background the Valley is indeed beautiful.
Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day - 15 : Kathmandu
After breakfast we embark on a city tour of Kathmandu visiting Pashupatinath Temple - the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva, built in 1696.
Post lunch Sightseeing tour of Swayambhunath - the oldest Buddhist shrine. Looking east from here, one can see the entire Kathmandu valley spread out below. A short drive will take you to Boudhanath - the worlds largest stupa; a sight of great reneration to the Buddhist. We continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square - the temple of the Living Goddess and the old Royal Palace. Finally, visit Kasthamandup - a temple built from a single tree from which the Kathmandu derives its name.

Day - 16 : Kathmandu
Visit full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu & Patan - a city of architecture and fine arts. Sometimes known as "Town with a Thousand Golden Roofs". Visit Tibetan Handicraft center at Jawalakhel to watch carpet weaving.

Day - 17 : Kathmandu - Delhi Departure
In time transfer to airport to board the flight for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of your 'Vardhman's Magic of India Tour' escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
