Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Begin your Tour.
Arrive into Delhi. Welcome to 'Vardhman's India at a Glance Tour'. On arrival
in Delhi, you will be met and transfered by our representative to hotel.

Day 02: Delhi
This morning after a leisurely breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing
of Delhi..
Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple , a modern Hindu
Temple , Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught
place, the shopping centre of New Delhi .
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation
sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni
Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
Enjoy the Dances of India show in the evening.

Day 03: Delhi - Orchha- Khajuraho
This morning after breakfast Proceed to Jhansi by train and enroute
to visit Orchha and upon arrival, check into hotel.
Orchha which is a medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces
& temples of the 16th & 17th century which have remarkably withstood
the onslaught of time. The city is picturesquely flanked by the river
Betwa. Visit of the surrounding fortress & local Ram Raja Tample.
Later proceed to visit a full day tour of the Exotic temples (Eastern
& Southern) of Khajuraho.

Day 04 : Khauraho - Agra
This morning proceed to Agra by train and transfer into hotel.

Day 05: Agra
This morning after breakfast proceed for sight-seeing city tour of
Agra.

Visit Taj Mahal, Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will
visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellant
range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles,
truly a one stop shop.

Day 06: Agra - Jaipur
This morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur and enroute visit Fatehpur
Sikri and upon arrival, check into hotel.

Day 07: Jaipur
After breakfast proceed for Amber Fort. Enjoy the fort ascent on elephant
back in a royal manner.
Enjoy the experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed
on a tour of Amber fort (optional: Elephant Safari). Later visit the Jagmandir
or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace
and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and
through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.

Day 08: Jaipur - Jodhpur
This morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur and transfer into hotel.

Day 09: Jodhpur
After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Jodhpur.
Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including
Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble
memorium built in 1899 and the Museum located in the Umaid Public gardens,
in the evening a walk in the old city.

Day 10: Jodhpur - Udaipur
This morning drive to Udaipur and enroute visit Ranakpur and for of
Kumbhalgarh and upon arrival, check into hotel.

Day 11: Udaipur
This morning proceed to visit the City Palace also visit medieval
Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-Ki-Bari or the "Gardens of the Maids
of Honour". The tour of Udaipur will end with a lunch at the beautiful
Gallery Restaurant at Fateh Prakash Palace.The day will end with a relaxing
boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 12: Udaipur - Aurangabad
This morning after the breakfast drive to the airport for your flight
for Bombay where you will arrive to connect to your flight for Aurangabad.
Upon arrival, check into hotel.
Ajanta Caves are 106 kms from Aurangabad and date back to the 2nd century
BC. The 30 rock hewn caves are adorned with Buddhist sculpture and the
frescoes portray in epic form the religious and secular life through eight
centuries.

Day 13: Aurangabad
This morning after breakfast visit to Ellora Caves (29 kms) encompassing
34 rock cut shrines representing Buddhist,Hindu & Jain art dating
from the 4th to 9th century A.D. The most remarkable among them is the
Kailash Temple, meant to be a replica of Lord Shivas celestial abode -
Kailash is the best example of Rock cut architecture and an engineering
marvel. Later visit Daulatabad Fort, Aurangabad Caves.

Day 14: Aurangabad - Bombay
Proceed to airport to board your flight for Bombay where you spend
the night before starting your tour of South India.

Day 15: Bombay - Madurai
This morning, drive to airport to take a flight for Madurai and upon
arrival, check into hotel.
Madurai, known as Athens of the East, it is the second largest city on
the banks of the River Vigai. The city believed to be more than 2500 yeras
old. The city got its name from the drops of nectar (Mathuram) that fell
from Shiva's locs when he came to bless its people for constructing a
temple for him.

Visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva
with its towering gopurams (rising high above the surrounding countryside).
Later, visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace a gracious building in the
Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches.

Day 16: Chettinad
This morning after breakfast drive to Chettinad which is known for
its artistic houses. Spend the afternoon exploring the palace and around
for its unique architecture.

Day 17: Madurai - Trichy - Tanjore
This morning after breakfast drive to Tanjore visiting enroute Trichy
and upon arrival, check into the hotel.
The Rock Fort situated on the banks of the Kaveri river, Trichy's most
famed land mark is an 84 m high rock, one of the oldest in the world aprox.3,800
million years. The attraction is not for fort itself but the temple at
the summit. 344 steps hewn out of rock lead to the top where are the inscriptions
dating back to the 3rd century B.C.
Later proceed on a City tour of Tanjore
Tanjore (Thanjavur) is famous for Carnatic music, musical instruments,
dance and traditional hadicrafts and the Brahadeeswarar Temple. The temple
constructed more than a thousand years ago by the Chola King Raja Rajan
is an architect's marvel.
In the evening you explore the city including spectacular Rock Fort Temple.

Day 18: Tanjore - Madras (chennai)
This morning to take a train for Madras and upon arrival, check into
hotel.
City tour of Chennai
Visit Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and the museum to see the Art
and Bronze Gallery. (Closed on Fridays and Public holidays). High court,
Marina Beach, San Thome Cathedral and Snake Park..

Day 19: Madras (Chennai)
This morning after breakfast proceed on a full day excursion to Mahabalipuram
& Kanchipuram.
Kanchipuram
Kanchipuram (70 kms from Chennai (Madras)) is the ancient capital of the
Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines. The
first temple dedicated to Shiva was built in the 7th and 8th century &
has paintings on the walls. Temples of Ekambareswara, Kailasanatha, Sri
Kamakshi and Varada Raja swamy are of interest. Kanchipuram is also famous
for its silks.
Upon arrrival at Mahabalipuram check into your hotel.
Later visit Mahabalipuram
Mahabalipuram is (75Kms from Kanchipuram) famous for the 7th Century Temples.
Here on the seashore is an interesting group of ancient rock hewn temples
which are the examples of Dravidian style of Architecture.

Day 20: Madras
In time transfer to airport to board the flight for your onward journey
to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of your 'Vardhman's India
